Specific objectives |
To enhance awareness and capacity of local communities among FDs’ staff, nature park officials and residents of Baljuvon district regarding biodiversity values, threats and opportunities for ecosystem restoration. |

Results |
Population of four target areas from Qairubak, Dashti Gulho, Afardi and Sari Khisor villages has been directly engaged and supported through the below activities: · 26 women out of total 96 training participants raised their knowledge on “Soil Erosion and Ways to Prevent”. · 15 women out of 78 training participants raised their knowledge on “Ecosystem services”. · 65 women out of 117 people became a member of nine established CIG and Natural Resource User Group. · 18 representatives of local authorities (of which 5 women) has participated in a round table on dissemination and sharing the result of the project. · Representatives from two forestry departments, a nature park and four communities strengthened their capacity on JFM during two-days exchange visits to GBAO. |
