Goal |
To conduct systematic participatory review of the national existing policies, systems as well as design and implementation in the area of school feeding (and related health and nutrition policy areas) against internationally recognized five policy pathways (pointing out at the progress to sustainability of the national interventions). |

Specific objectives |
· Conduct a joint analysis of the policy framework; · Conduct a joint analysis of financial capacity; · Conduct a joint analysis of institutional capacity and coordination; · Design and implementation (including monitoring and evaluation); · Conduct an analysis of community roles – moving beyond the school. |

Results |
· A SABER School Feeding exercise work plan was developed, clearly identifying responsibilities for each activity, providing step-by-step implementation instructions, and a schedule; · A SABER school feeding analysis framework was developed for the SABER exercise, adapted to the restrictions caused by the COVID-19 outbreak in Tajikistan, in collaboration with an international consultant; · An analysis of the SABER school feeding library was conducted; · An analysis of SABER tools adapted to the context of Tajikistan and service objectives was conducted; · An analysis of the roadmap/action plan for strengthening the national school feeding program for the next 5 years, including the technical assistance framework, was conducted in collaboration with an international consultant; · An analysis of the draft technical assistance framework for school feeding was conducted. |
